UPSC Geo-Scientist Recruitment Examination 2021 – Apply Online

 Union Public Service Commission  (UPSC), Shahjahan Road, Dholpur House, New Delhi – 110069 will hold a Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination, 2021 (Computer Based Test) on 21/02/2021 for selection to Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2021 for recruitment to following 40 Govt. Vacancy posts of  Geophysicist, Chemist, and Hydrogeologists (Scientist B) in Geological Survey of India (GSI) and in Central Ground Water Board (CGWB), etc departments of Government of India.

The recruitment examination will be held at various centers across the country. The Main The examination will be held on 17th & 18th July 2021 

Vacancy Details –

  • Chemist Group A:  15 vacancies in Geological Survey of India, Age: 21-32 years as on 01/01/2021
  • Scientist-B (Geophysics) Group A:  06 vacancies in n Central Ground Water Board, Age: 21-32 years as on 01/01/2021
  • Scientist-B (Chemical) Group A:  03 vacancies in Central Ground Water Board, Age: 21-32 years as on 01/01/2021
  • Scientist-B (Hydrogeology) Group A:  16 vacancies in Central Ground Water Board, Age: 21-32 years as on 01/01/2021

 

 LAST DATE OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS:(I)The Online Applications can be filled up to 27th October, 2020 till 18.00 Hours. (II)The online Applications can be withdrawn from 04.11.2020 to 10.11.2020 till 18.00 Hours 

 

Application Fees –  Rs.200/- to be paid either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using the Net Banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Female candidates.

 

HOW TO APPLY :Candidates are required to apply online only by using the website https://upsconline.nic.in. Brief instructions for filling up the online Application Form have been given in Appendix-II. Detailed instructions are available on the above mentioned website. 

             Candidate should have details of one Photo ID Card viz. Aadhaar Card/Voter Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving Licence/Any other Photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government. The details of this Photo ID Card will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online application form. The candidates will have to upload a scanned copy of the Photo ID whose details have been provided in the online application by him/her. This Photo ID Card will be used for all future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this Photo ID Card while appearing for Examination/ Personality Test. 2.2 The facility of withdrawal of Application is available for those candidates who do not want to appear for the Examination. In this regard, instructions are mentioned in Appendix-II (B) of this Examination Notice.
