The Director, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY), Assam invites applications from eligible candidates who are citizens of India as defined under Article 5 to 9 of the Constitution of India and fulfill the eligibility norms of educational qualification, age etc. as mentioned below against each category of purely temporary contractual engagements. The engagements have been envisaged under the scheme “Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY)”. No separate call letters will be issued to the candidates.

1. District Programme Coordinator (to be posted at Dhubri, South Salmara Mancachar & Darrang)
- No of Post – 3
- Educational Qualification – Post Graduate in Social Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Nutrition/ Medicine/ Health Management/Soc ial Work/ Rural management.
- Experience/ Competencies –At least 1 (one) year experience of working with the Government/Non -Government Organizations. Proficiency in using MS-Office Proficiency in local language and English.
- Age Limit – Minimum 18 years & maximum 40 years for un-reserved category, 43 years for OBC/MOBC and 45 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD) as on 1st January 2021 as per Govt. Office Memorandum vide No.ABP.6/2016/51 dated 02/09/2020
- Remunerati on (Fixed) – Rs. 35,000/-per month
2. District Programme Assistant (to be posted at Dhubri, South Salmara. Mancachar, Bongaigaon, Cachar, Goalpara, Hailakandi & Karimganj)
- No of Post – 7
- Educational Qualification – Graduation with Major in Social Sciences/ Social Work/Rural Management/ Statistics
- Experience/ Competencies –At least 1 (one) year experience of working with the Government/Non -Government Organizations. Proficiency in using MS-Office Proficiency in local language and English.

Selection Process Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Programme Coordinator Recruitment
The selection will be on the basis of a Written Test followed by Interview. Name of Short listed candidates for the Written Test will be intimated through their respective Email ID as mentioned in their Application Form annexed herewith. The candidates who will qualify in the Written Test will be called for Viva-Voce/Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:4. The schedule of Viva-Voce/Personal Interview will be published in leading newspapers and will be posted in website http://womenandchildren.assam.gov.in.
