Commissioner, Panchayat & Rural Development, Assam, invites online applications from eligible candidates who are citizen of India as defined under Article 5 to 9 of the Constitution of India and fulfill the eligibility norms of educational qualification, age, work experience etc. as mentioned below against each category for purely temporal contractual posts. The posts have been created for Cluster Facilitation Project under MGNREGA of Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Assam.
1 State Project Officer- NRM
No of Post – 1
Remuneration – Rs.1,00,000 plus Travelling allowance @ max. 10% of Emoluments based on actual bills.
Experience – At least 8 years work experience must be on rural infrastructure projects/ NRM projects while working with reputed organizations.
Knowledge of English, Hindi and local language is necessary.
Engagement – Contractual basis (Purely Temporary)
Age – 30-45 years as on 01-01- 2020
Qualification – B. Tech in Civil/ Agriculture Engineering
2 State Project Officer- GIS
No of Post – 1
Remuneration – Rs.1,00,000 plus Travelling allowance g max. 10% of Emoluments based on actual bills
Age – 30-45 years as on 01-01- 2020
Qualification – M.Tech/M.E/M.Sc. in Geographic Information Science/ Technology / Remote Sensing 85 GIS/Geo Spatial Technology / Geo-Informatics / Geo Spatial Science/ Surveying and Geo- Informatics/ OR
BE/B.Tech with PG Diploma in Geographic Information Science /Remote Sensing from recognized University/Institute OR
MCA with PG Diploma in Geographic Information Science/ Remote Sensing from recognized University/Institute OR
Post Graduate
in Science/ Agricultural Science with PG Diploma in Geographic Information Science/ Remote Sensing from recognized University /Institute
Experience- Work Experience of at least 5 years in GIS- based projects in reputed government funded organizations like NIRD&PR, NRSC is SRSAC etc. or similar reputed organizations working on GIS based projects.) Knowledge on data processing/ analyzing and development of geospatial data.
Knowledge of English, Hindi and local language is necessary.

3 State Project Officer- Livelihood

Remuneration – Rs.1,00,000 plus Travelling allowance @ max. 10% of Emoluments based on actual bills
Age – 30-45 years as on 01-01- 2020
Qualification – Masters in Agricultural Economics / Horticulture / Agro forestry /Agronomy / Forestry Contractual basis (Purely Temporary)
At least 8 years work a should be primarily on use of agriculture and allied activities for enhancement of incomes of rural poor.
Knowledge of English, Hindi and local language is necessary.

4 District Coordinator NRM

Remuneration – Rs.75,000 plus Travelling allowance @ max. 10% of Emoluments based on actual Remuneration –bills 2020
Age – 27- 40 years as on 01-01-
Qualification – B.Tech in Civil/ Agriculture Engineering
