Eligibility Criteria for the Positions
- Age Limit:The Candidate must not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years of age as on 01.012021. The upper Age limit is relaxable as per Govt. Rule.

Qualifications:Minimum Educational Qualification is class VIII passed and those who have passed H.S.S.L.C. examination shall not be eligible to apply for the post. Candidates possessing any special skill will be given preference. If any Candidate is found to have suppressed his/her educational qualification or given any wrong information at the time of applying for the post, his/her candidature shall be liable to be rejected.

The Candidates have to submit their application along with self attested documents (in photocopy) in a sealed envelope by Courier/Registered Post/ Speed post/ or deposit the same in the ‘Drop Box’ provided for the purpose in the premises of the District &Sessions Judge’s Court Building Nagaon or by email to [email protected] in PDF format.

The application should be addressed to the District &Sessions Judge, Nagaon and the applicant must mention on the envelope containing the application APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF PEON/CHOWKIDER / PEON(CONTRACTUAL)” at the top.
The applicant will have to submit self attested relevant testimonials (Photocopy) i.e. Educational Qualification Certificates & Marksheets, Age Proof Certificate, Caste Certificate (in case of Reserved category candidates) and Certificates relating to any special skill along with 3 copies of recent Passport size Photographs.
The last date of receipt of application is 15 (Fifteen) days from the date of publication of the advertisement. Incomplete applications and applications received after due date shall be summarily rejected.
A provisional ‘Select List’ and ‘Reject List’ will be notified in due course of time in the official website of Nagaon Judiciary, viz, nagaonjudiciary.gov.in. The date, venue and time of interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates through the official website of Nagaon Judiciary, viz. nagaonjudiciary.gov.in.
