In pursuance of the letter from the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department, Govt of Assam vide letter No. CEI(E)21/2019/pt-1/56 dtd. Guwahati the 08.02.2021, online applications are hereby invited in the prescribed form as available in the website from the intending eligible candidate for filling up the sanctioned Grade-IV vacant posts as mentioned below and as per following Terms & Conditions under the jurisdiction of the office of the Superintending Engineer, Tezpur Circle (Irrigation), Tezpur.

2. Chowkidar in Office of the Executive Engineer, Itakhola Division,  

   • Total Post – 1 Nos

3. Khalasi in Office of the Executive Engineer, Itakhola Division,  

   • Total Post – 4 Nos

4. Peon in Office of the Superintending Engineer, Tezpur Circle, 

   • Total Post – 2 Nos
   • Category of post and number – PWD-1, OBC/MOBC – 1

Educational Qualification – Minimum qualification Class VIII Passed.Minimum qualification of a candidate is VIII standard Examination pass and maximum qualification is Higher Secondary (10+2) examination pass from any recognized board. Candidate having passed beyond the above limit need not apply.

 

Salary Structure : Pay Band-I Rs. 12,000- Rs. 52,000 G.P. Rs. 3900/-plus other allowances as per rule.

 

Eligibility Criteria of Irrigation Tezpur Grade IV Recruitment 2021

• Citizenship: Candidates must be an Indian citizen as defined in article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India & ordinarily resident of Assam. 
• Employment Exchange Registration No:The Candidate must have registered their names in the Employment Exchange and the registration number along with the dates must be mentioned in their applications. 

 

Age Limit – Candidate must not be less than 18 years or not more than 40 years of age as on 01.02.2021 . The upper age limit for OBC/MOBC candidate is 43 years, for SC/ST candidate is 45 years, for Ex. Serviceman candidate is 42 years and for Person with Disability is 50 years as per existing Govt. norms
