In pursuance of the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department, Assam Letter No. CEI (E)21/2019/Pt-1/56 dated 08.02.2021, online application are invited from eligible candidates who are citizen of India as defined in Article 5 & 8 of the constitution of India domiciled in the State of Assam for filling up of the following sanctioned Gr-IV vacant post in the establishment of the 0/o Superintending Engineer, Jorhat Mechanical Circle (Irrigation), Jorhat, 0/o Executive Engineer, Jorhat Mechanical Division (Irrigation), Jorhat and 0/o Executive Engineer, upper Assam Drilling Division (Irrigation), Jorhat in the pay Bands & Grade Pay with other allowance as admissible under the rules as shown below:-

4. Khalasi in office of The Executive Engineer, Jorhat Mechanical Division (Irrigation), Jorhat,

   • Total Vacancy=1 (One) 

5. Peon in office of The Executive Engineer, Upper Assam Drilling Division(Irrigation), Jorhat, 

   • Total Vacancy=1 (One)

Salary Structure : Pay Band-I Rs. 12,000- Rs. 52,000 G.P. Rs. 3900/-plus other allowances as per rule.

 

Eligibility Criteria for Irrigation Jorhat Grade IV Recruitment 2021

• Age Limit :Candidates must not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years of age on 1st January, 2021. The upper age limit for S.C. and S.T. candidate is up to 45 years and for OBC/MOBC candidates is up to 43 years as per Govt. Office Memorandum No. ABP.6/2016/51 dated 02-09-2020. Educational 
• Educational Qualification: Class-VIII Passed.

 
 

How to Apply for Irrigation Jorhat Grade IV Recruitment 2021

1. The applications must be submitted online through the following website as per post at www.niyukti.assam.gov.in/irrigationjorhat_mech/ No others forms of application will be entertained. The candidates already in service must apply through proper channel and upload scanned copy of NOC of the concerned department. 

2. The Applications will be received online From the date of 16.02.2021 up to the Midnight of 26.02.2021. 

3. Applicant should read all the following instructions before applying: –

   • (a) Scan your Passport Size colour Photograph and make it ready for uploading. The image size should be minimum 20 KB and should not exceed 50 KB and the image dimension should be 3.5cm by 2.5 cm.The image format should be jpg or jpeg or png. No other format of image will be accepted. 
   • (b) Scan your Specimen signature and make it ready for uploading. Size should be minimum 10 KB and should not exceed 30 KB and the image dimension should be 1.5cm by 2.5cm. The image format should be jpg or jpeg or png. No other format of image will be accepted. 

   • (c) Scan your documents. Size should not exceed 200 KB. The document format should be jpg or jpeg or png or pdf. No other format will be accepted. Documents required to upload are as follows-

     • I. Age Proof 
     • II. Class VIII Pass Certificate 
     • III. HSLC Certificate(optional) 
     • IV. HS Certificate(optional) 
     • V. Employment Exchange Regd. Card(optional) 
     • VI. Caste Certificate(if applicable)

Selection Procedure of Irrigation Jorhat Grade IV Recruitment 2021:

1. The detail syllabus of the examination will be notified later on local newspaper as well as on this website. 
2. The Date and Venue of Written examination will be intimated in the Admit Card and also will be notified through the website. 
3. Candidature of candidate is provisional and the committee has the right to accept or reject the candidature of any candidate at any stage of recruitment after proper scrutiny of the educational and other relevant documents. 
4. No application fees should be paid by the candidates and canvassing directly or indirectly in any form by the candidate shall lead to disqualification of his candidature. 
5. The Selection of candidates for appointment shall have to give an undertaking that they will abide by the New Pension Scheme Rule of Govt. of Assam along with Joining Report.
