• Salary:Rs.67000 plus HRA Rs.10720 plus Medical Rs.1250
• Duration of Engagement: 11 Months

• Qualification:

  • (i) Ph. D in Engineering/Technology/Science or Master’s degree in engineering or technology from a recognized university preferably in the area of Electronics/ Computer Science/ Mechanical/ Civil/ IT/ Agriculture or equivalent; and 
  • (ii) Three years’ Research and Development experience in Industrial and Academic institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services or 
  • (iii) Bachelors in engineering or technology preferably in the area of Electronics/ Computer Science/ Mechanical/ Civil/ IT/ Agriculture with 10years’ of relevant industrial experience

2.Name of the Post:Project Associate–I

• No of Post:03
• Salary:Rs.31000 plus HRA Rs.4960 plus Medical Rs.1250
• Duration of Engagement:11 Months
• Qualification:(i) Master’s degree in natural or agriculture sciences/MVSc/ Engineering/ Technology preferably in the area of Electronics/ Computer Science/ Mechanical/ Civil/ IT/ Agriculture or equivalent, or Bachelors in engineering or technology preferably in the area of Electronics/ Computer Science/ Mechanical/ Civil/ IT/ Agriculture or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent

3.Name of the Post:Field Assistant

• No of Post:03
• Salary:Rs.18000 plus HRA Rs.2880 plus Medical Rs.1250
• Duration of Engagement:11 Months
• Qualification:Bachelors in any discipline of science/engineering/technology/agriculture from a recognized university or equivalent

After 12 June 2021, registration link will be closed.Candidates will be shortlisted based on the qualifications posted in the advertisement and, later only shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email separately to attend interviews.

Important Note:In case of large number of applications received for various posts, an online written test having questions on mental  or  quantitative/qualitative  abilities  may  be  conducted  on  14  June  2021.  The  duration  of  this  written  test,  if conducted, will be of ONE Hr. having maximum 75 questions with negative marking.  It is to be further noted that candidates  may  be  shortlisted  for  final  interview  based  on  the  qualifications  posted  in  the  advertisement  and  the performance in the written test both, in case a written test is conducted because of large number of applications received for various positions advertised.

Selection Process of IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2021: 

The shortlisted candidates have to appear in the online interview. Selection will be based on the performance  of  the  candidate  in  the  interview. The  selection  committee  will  decide  the  suitable  candidate  after  the interview. Candidates will not be sent any call letter separately. Candidates having relevant work experience as per the advertisement and in the area of electronics, agriculture, machine learning, sensor data analytics, web designing and app designing are preferred.
