How to uninstall unwanted system apps from your phone without Root

Hello everyone, today we will discuss how to uninstall system app from the phone. As you know almost all of the Chinese smart phones come with a ton of bloatware pre-installed in them so much so that the default system apps also serve the purpose of bloatware by asking for some unnecessary permissions and pirating your valuable user data. 

                         So in today’s discussion you will know how to get rid of this bloaty system apps without needing to root your phone for this. You will need only your smartphone a pc or a laptop to run some basic adb commands and a USB cable that comes with a smart phone. I am using real me x2 as my device for the purpose of this task but you can use any device from xiaomi, oppo, vivo owner etc. by doing some basic changes in the commands. 

Don’t worry I’ll tell you what to do when we’ll get there so with that out of the way let’s begin –

 

These steps are general for all devices which come with custom ui. Just change the package names with your device ones. Rest all steps are same.

 

Steps to follow :

  1. Open about section of your phone.

  2. Tap on build number 7 times.

  3. Enable developer options by entering your passcode.

  4. Enable USB Debugging.

  5. Plug in your phone to your computer with a usb cable.

  6. Download and install ADB setup     from below link  

 download

7)  Download and extract ‘platform tools’. 

8) Open platform tools.

9) Press ‘Shift + Right Mouse Button’ and open powershell window.

Steps after opening powershell window:

1) Type ‘adb devices’

2) Press allow on your phone to allow usb debugging

3) Again type ‘adb devices’

4) Type ‘adb shell’

5) Enter one of the commands given below (For uninstall select ‘UNINSTALL CMD’, for reinstalling select ‘REINSTALL CMD’ and so on)

  • ⏩ UNINSTALL CMD ⏪

          pm uninstall –user 0 [type package name]

  • ⏩ REINSTALL CMD ⏪

         cmd package install-existing [type package name]

  • ⏩ DISABLE CMD ⏪

         pm disable-user –user 0 [type package name]

  • ⏩ ENABLE CMD ⏪

        pm enable [type package name]
