APSC Recruitment Notice 2021 for Assistant Engineer,Language Office & Director
1. NAME OF THE POST – Assistant Engineer (Electrical), Public works (Building & NH) Department
- NO. OF POST – 19 (Nineteen) Nos.
- Pay Scale – Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- Rs. 12,700/- PB-4

Eligibility Criteria : i.The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam. ii. The Candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as proof of residency with the application.. OR ii. The candidate must produce registration certificate of Employment Exchange in the State of Assam along with the Application Form. (Attach self attested valid supporting documents.)

Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Electrical/B.Tech. (Electrical) Engineering from an Indian or Foreign University recognized by the Government. OR
Passed Parts A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) and possessing a certificate to that effect from the Institution of Engineers (India).
Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 1 (one) official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/Bengali/Bodo), except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.(Attach self attested valid supporting documents)
Age Limit for Assistant Engineer Position: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2020. The upper age limit is relaxable:
- (i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates. i.e. upto 43 years.
- (ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.
- (iii) For Persons with Disability (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate as per Govt. Notification No. ABP 144/95/121 dated Dispur the 28th October, 2015.
The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation /HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.
2.Name of the Post:- Language Officer (Assamese) in the Office of the Assam Official Language (TCL) Commission under the Legislative Department.
- No. of Posts:– 3 (three) Nos.
- Pay Scale – Rs 22 000/- to 97,000/- Rs. 11,800/- PB-3
- Education Qualification :-The candidate must have Law Degree with Assamese as one of the subjects in the degree course. (Attach self attested valid supporting documents.)

3. Name of the Post:- Director, Directorate of Archives, Assam under Secretariat Administration (Estt.) Department
- No. of Posts:– 1 (one) No.
- Pay Scale – Rs. 30,000/- to 1.10,0001- Rs. 15,100/- PB- 4
- Education Qualification :-a) A candidate must have passed at least Second class M.A in Modem Indian History and having one year diploma in Archival Science from National Archives of India, New Delhi. b) Preference will be given to those having M.Phil or Ph.D in History. (Attach self attested valid supporting documents.)
- Experience:-a) At least 6 (six) years experience in the rank of Archivist or in similar higher capacity in this line in any Archival Institution. b) Preference will be given to the departmental candidates who have 8 (eight) years experiences in Archival management in any Govt. Archival Organization. c) Experience in Archival Planning/Schemes.
Age Limit for Language Officer Position:The candidates should not be less than 45 years of age and not more than 55 years of age as on 01/01/2020. The upper age limit is relaxable: :
- (i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- (ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.

APPUCAT1ON FEES FOR APSC RECRUITMENT 2021:
Under the Digital India initiative by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, APSC has decided to launch its Online Recruitment portal with the help of CSC-SPV, a MeitY approved organization, which will charge a processing fee of Rs. 30.00/- + 18% tax = Rs.35.40/- from each candidate. The Application Fees is as per Govt. Notification No. FEG.32/2016/8-A dated Dispur the 28th October, 2016 communicated vide letter No.ABP.60/2014111 dated 2nd February 2018 and Govt. Notification No.ABP144/95/121dated Dispur the 28th October, 2015 for persons with disabilities (PWD) candidates.
