Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizers Corporation Limited (BVFCL) was incorporated on 5th April 2002 after segregation of Namrup units in Assam from Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Limited (HFCL). BVFCL is under the administrative control of Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Department of Fertilizers with 100% shareholding by the Government of India. It is the first factory of its kind in India to use associated natural gas as basic raw material for producing nitrogenous fertilizer.BVFCL invited application for recruitment of non-executive positions on regular basis.

Details of BVFCL Recruitment 2021


1) Office Assistant Gr-III

  • No of Post :10{UR-5,(PwBD-1)}, OBC-2, ST-1, EWS-1)
  • Qualification:Full time Bachelors’ Degree (Arts, Commerce & Science) from recognized Institute /University with Diploma/Certificate Course of minimum duration of 6 months in Computer Application in office environment. Skill test is to be conducted on MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power point. Minimum two years of post qualification working experience in Computer application and Office Assistance jobs. The candidates must submit documentary evidences in support of their work experience from an organization of repute. Training period shall not be considered as part of experience. 
  • Age Limit:Not more than 33 years.Age relxationas per govt rule.
  • Pay Scale:Rs. 9450-3%-19450/- plus usual allowances as admissible

 

2) Operator Trainee

  • No of Post:05 (UR-3, EWS-1, OBC-1 ) 
  • Qualification:03 year regular full time Diploma in Chemical Engineering  with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute/ University.  OR   03 year regular full time B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 40% marks in aggregate from a recognized institution/ University. 
  • Age Limit:Not more than 30 years.Age relxationas per govt rule.
  • Pay Scale:Stipend equivalent to 75% of Pay (Basic + DA) of Rs 9950 + DA as applicable) per month.

The Trainees will be absorbed in Operator Grade- II  in the pay scale  of Rs. 9950-3%-22350/- respectively plus usual allowances as admissible after successful completion of training.

 

3) Technician Trainee (Machinist)

  • No of Post -01(UR ) 
  • Qualification:HSLC pass with ITI in Machinist trade approved by NCVT/SCVT  
  • Age Limit:27 years.Age relxationas per govt rule.
  • Pay Scale:Stipend equivalent to 75% of Pay (Basic + DA) of Rs 9450 + DA as applicable)   per month.

The Trainees will be absorbed  in Machinist Grade- III,Technician(Electrical)Gr-III, Technician ( Instrumentation)Gr-III and  Welder  Gr-III  in the pay scale  of Rs.9450-3%-19450/- respectively plus usual allowances as admissible after successful completion of training. 

 

4) Technician Trainee (Electrical) 

  • No of Post-02(UR ) 
  • Qualification:HSLC pass with ITI in Electrical trade approved by NCVT/SCVT.
  • Age Limit:27 years.Age relxationas per govt rule.
  • Pay Scale:Stipend equivalent to 75% of Pay (Basic + DA) of Rs 9450 + DA as applicable)   per month.
The Trainees will be absorbed  in Machinist Grade- III,Technician(Electrical)Gr-III, Technician ( Instrumentation)Gr-III and  Welder  Gr-III  in the pay scale  of Rs.9450-3%-19450/- respectively plus usual allowances as admissible after successful completion of training. 

 

5) Technician Trainee (Instrumentation) 

  • No of Post-02( UR ) 
  • Qualification:HSLC pass with ITI in Electronic trade approved by NCVT/ SCVT.
  • Age Limit:27 years.Age relxationas per govt rule.
  • Pay Scale:Stipend equivalent to 75% of Pay (Basic + DA) of Rs 9450 + DA as applicable)   per month.
The Trainees will be absorbed  in Machinist Grade- III,Technician(Electrical)Gr-III, Technician ( Instrumentation)Gr-III and  Welder  Gr-III  in the pay scale  of Rs.9450-3%-19450/- respectively plus usual allowances as admissible after successful completion of training.

 

6) Technician Trainee (Welder)

  • No of Post-01( UR) 
  • Qualification: HSLC pass with ITI in Welding trade approved by NCVT/SCVT
  • Age Limit:27 years.Age relxationas per govt rule.
  • Pay Scale:Stipend equivalent to 75% of Pay (Basic + DA) of Rs 9450 + DA as applicable)   per month.
The Trainees will be absorbed  in Machinist Grade- III,Technician(Electrical)Gr-III, Technician ( Instrumentation)Gr-III and  Welder  Gr-III  in the pay scale  of Rs.9450-3%-19450/- respectively plus usual allowances as admissible after successful completion of training.

 

7) Boiler Attendant 

  • No of Post -2(OBC-1, ST-1 )(Backlog) 
  • Qualification: HSLC / ITI with IInd Class Boiler Attendant certificate

OR   

  • HSLC  with National Apprenticeship Certificate(NAC ) (Boiler Trade).  
  • Experience : Minimum 2 years of post qualification working experience in operation of Boilers-medium /high pressure water tube Boilers in Fertilizer / Chemical industry. Training period shall not be considered as part of experience.  
  • Age Limit:43 years.Age relxationas per govt rule.
  • Pay Scale:Rs.9450-3%-19450/- plus usual allowances as admissible 

 

8) Cable Jointer 

  • No of Post -01(UR )(Backlog) 
  • Qualification : HSLC with ITI Electrician Trade approved by NCVT/ SCVT.  
  • Experience : Minimum 02years post qualification working experience in cable jointing and possess workman licence for the jobs upto and including 11KV from a Licensing Board, preferably from Assam. Training period shall not be considered as part of experience.  
  • Age Limit:43 years.Age relxationas per govt rule.
  • Pay Scale:Rs.9450-3%-19450/- plus usual allowances as admissible 

 

9) Fireman

  • No of Post-01(ST )(Backlog)
  • Age Limit:43 years.Age relxationas per govt rule.
  • Pay Scale:Rs.9450-3%-19450/- plus usual allowances as admissible  
  • Qualification:HSLC passed, must be active and possess a good physique and fulfill the following specifications:
    (i) Height (Minimum)   - 160 cm.(In case of ST candidate the height should be minimum 157.5cm)  
    (ii) Weight (Minimum) -  51.2 Kg
    (iii) Chest (Normal)  -  77.7  cm. (expanded) -   82.5 cm.  
     
  • Experience: Minimum experience of 02 (Two) years in Fire Fighting jobs  in Fertilizer/ Chemical  industry. 

 

 10) Helper (Operation/Maintenance)

  • No of Post -20(UR-7, OBC-5, SC-2, ST-3, EWS-2 & Ex-SM-1) 
  • Pay Scale of Rs.8100-3%-14900/- plus usual allowances as admissible
  • Age Limit:43 years.Age relxationas per govt rule.
  • Qualification: Class VIII pass.   
  • Experience : Minimum  five  years  of  working  experience  in  Ammonia-Urea  complex. The  candidates  must  submit  documentary evidences  in  support  of  their  work  experience  as  mentioned below:
    1. UAN number along with minimum five years of PF statement.
    2. Experience certificate from an organization of repute (Minimum five years).

Application Fees

Candidates  belonging  to  General  (Including  EWS)  and  OBC  categories  are  required to  attach  a  non-refundable  application  fee  of  Rs  100/-(Rupees  one  hundred  only)  by way  of  Demand  draft  drawn  in  favour  of  BVFCL,  Namrup  payable  at  SBI/UCO Bank,  at  Namrup,  Assam-786623.  SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM  candidates  are  exempted from payment of Application Fee.
